RIJEČKI KOMORNI ORKESTAR osnovala je 1976. nekolicina glazbenih entuzijasta. Ansambl se sastoji od gudačkog korpusa (15-20 glazbenika) koji čine jezgru kojoj se po potrebi mogu priključiti i drugi glazbenici na puhačkim instrumentima. Umjetnički i glazbeni ravnatelj ansambla od početka bio je maestro Peter Škrjanec, dok je od 1991. tu dužnost preuzeo violončelist David Stefanutti. Repertoar Orkestra proteže se od baroka pa sve do djela suvremenih autora, a posebna pozornost posvećuje se izvođenju djela suvremenih hrvatskih autora. Osim u Hrvatskoj Orkestar je nastupao i u Sloveniji i Italiji.

RIJEKA CHAMBER ORCHESTRA - was founded in 1976 by a couple of enthusiasts. The ensemble consists of a string core (15-20 musicians), which can then be expanded with wind musicians. At first, the ensemble's Art and Music Director had been Maestro Peter Škrjanec, while in 1991 this role was assumed by the cellist David Stefanutti. The ensemble's repertoire consists of works ranging from the baroque to the contemporary period, focusing on the works composed by contemporary Croatian artists. The orchestra performed in Croatia, Slovenia and Italy.
